Natalie’s business and life Mantra is “Get up, dress up, show up and never give up!”  She has created a brand for herself both personally and professionally that stands for excellence, precision and her ability to bring a diverse group of people together for a common good.

Natalie has always believed that it is better to give than to receive and influences change with purpose. Therefore, she tirelessly enjoys serving our community in various leadership capacities.  As a leader who excels in creating other leaders, Natalie has made many decisions throughout the years to step down from various positions so she could train aspiring young business professionals to step into those positions, learn new leadership skills and provide others with an opportunity to lead.

Natalie is a natural born leader and loves to mentor others while also being mentored.  While most people believe you can only mentor down, Natalie believes it’s a two-way opportunity by which you can mentor up or down.  Beyond structured organizations, she mentors others within our community and beyond of all ages and backgrounds.  She is a mentor in the running and triathlon community, within her sphere of influence, in the animal rescue community and more.  Those who know her, love her and appreciate her passion for all that she does, which makes them want to learn from her.

Natalie sets lofty goals for herself and never fails to accomplish them, usually ahead of schedule.  As a highly motivated and self-driven individual, Natalie is known for taking initiatives both personally and professionally that another person may otherwise walk away from.  She is not afraid of taking risks and is one of the most mentally tough individuals.  People who know Natalie are often intrigued by her ability to achieve so many accomplishments, both personally and professionally, that they want to know her and learn from her.  The word “no” is not in Natalie’s vocabulary, so anytime someone tells her “no”, she always finds a creative way to rise to the occasion and accomplish what most would have otherwise walked away from.

Natalie’s banking career is a great example of someone starting at rock bottom and steadily rising with each new opportunity.  Natalie’s background in real estate provided her with the knowledge to earn her first banking job June 2006 where she began her banking career as a Private Banking Loan Assistant to two Executives.  After fulfilling this position for a year, one of the Executives Natalie worked for wrote her a letter of recommendation for a different position, which is how she joined the Treasury Management team as an Assistant before being promoted to an Analyst and then a Sales Associate.  Natalie was quickly promoted to a Junior Treasury Management Officer.  In 2011, she was promoted to Treasury Management Officer and later promoted to Assistant Vice President in 2013.

After a successful career in banking, Natalie decided to join her husband, Roger, September 2014 at their company, Mr. Rooter®, to work on some special projects that required a business owner’s mentality.  While at Mr. Rooter®, Natalie wore many hats, including, but not limited to, marketing and community development, vendor management, contract management and negotiations, accounts receivable and collections, plus managed the Logistics Team.  Natalie was responsible for establishing the Logistics Team’s Reference Guide, which helped ensure all team members were utilizing the same guidelines to achieve their job responsibilities and provide outstanding customer service.  Through Natalie’s diligence and negotiation skills, she saved Mr. Rooter® more than $100,000 per year in payables.  Upon taking the position as Executive Vice President, Natalie quickly branded herself as the “Mrs. to the Mr. at Mr. Rooter® Plumbing” and took the plumbing industry by storm.  Not only was Natalie the featured talent in the company’s commercials for the local TV stations, but she helped the company earn numerous prestigious awards.

Prior to reentering the banking industry, Natalie had more than a handful of banks reach out to her with job offers because they knew her reputation, skillset and wanted her to join their team in a niche banking market called Treasury Management.  Natalie joined a bank March 2019 where she served as Senior Vice President in a dual capacity role of Treasury Management Officer and Community Development Officer.  In addition, she continued to work full time at Mr. Rooter® until the business was sold August 2019.  Time management and grit are two of Natalie’s strengths, as she was able to successfully navigate all her triathlon training six days a week, plus maintain the workload of two full-time jobs during training.
